By using chomp.town (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. The Site is operated by Chomp Tech, LLC ("Chomp," "we," "us").
The Site describes the Chomp platform, currently in development, and lets you join a waitlist for early access. The Site is informational; the Chomp platform itself, including booking, mobile ordering, and payments, will be governed by separate terms of service when it launches. The local guide by text, when offered, is covered by the SMS terms below. Features, pricing, and availability described on the Site may change before launch.
Joining the waitlist is free and doesn't obligate you to anything. It reserves your interest, including promotional pricing where offered, but does not create a contract for services. We may contact you at the email you provide about launch and early access; you can unsubscribe at any time.
Chomp Tech, LLC operates the Chomp local guide by text. Where available, the program provides replies to your local questions, recommendations about events, food trucks, and venues, and links to more information. Optional recurring recommendations are offered separately. Messages may be sent using automated technology. Availability may be limited by location, pilot access, carrier support, or program eligibility.
How you consent. Sending us a question requests a reply and the related conversation. Before recurring or promotional messaging, you must separately and explicitly agree to the program described in its enrollment invitation. Providing a phone number, joining the email waitlist, opening a link, scanning a QR code, or sharing a city or interest does not by itself enroll you. Consent is specific to Chomp and the topics you agreed to, and is not a condition of purchase. You must own or be authorized to use the mobile number you enroll.
Frequency and charges. Conversational message frequency varies with your requests. If you opt in to weekly local recommendations, you receive up to one recurring recommendation message per week. Enrollment confirmations, requested replies, and help or opt-out responses are additional. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan, including when you send or receive messages or open linked pages. Contact your wireless provider about your plan and charges.
Stopping messages and getting help. Reply STOP to cancel messages at any time. You may receive one message confirming your opt-out. Reply HELP for assistance or email support@chomp.town. To enroll again, follow the program's current opt-in instructions. Let us know if you change or give up your enrolled number. Stopping SMS does not cancel unrelated email preferences.
Age-restricted content. Any alcohol-related messaging program is limited to people age 21 or older and requires completion of the applicable age and phone-verification process and messaging consent before enrollment or restricted messages. Permission to view alcohol-related content in the web app does not by itself authorize alcohol-related SMS. General messaging consent does not bypass these requirements.
Your information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your mobile number, messages, preferences, consent, and delivery records. We do not sell or share mobile information or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Message delivery and timing are not guaranteed. Carrier filtering, network coverage, device settings, outages, and other conditions may delay or prevent delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The text guide is not an emergency service and should not be used for urgent or safety-critical communication.
Event details, opening hours, availability, and offers can change. Recommendations may contain errors; confirm important details with the venue or organizer before traveling or making a purchase. Following a link may use mobile data and may open a website with its own terms and privacy practices.

The Site and its content, including the Chomp name, logo, design, text, and graphics, are owned by Chomp Tech, LLC or its licensors. Chomp™ is a trademark of Chomp Tech, LLC. You may not copy, modify, or use our content or marks without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial viewing of the Site.
The Site may link to third-party websites or services we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or practices; use them at your own discretion.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information on it (including planned features and pricing) is final or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chomp Tech, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the effective date updated below. Continuing to use the Site after changes means you accept them. Changes to these Terms do not create SMS consent or expand the topics you agreed to receive; any additional consent required for messaging must be obtained separately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
